PARKING:
Handicapped parking is available near
the terrace on the south side of the parking lot. Please do not park on the grass or in
driveways or in unmarked parking spots. Your car will be
ticketed and towed.
CONTACTING FACULTY:
Please do not call the office to
leave messages. We strongly advise you
to have a telephone number or e-mail address to contact your instructors; a
student telephone chain is also a great way to contact each other in case of
emergencies. You may leave messages in
your instructor’s mailbox in the faculty area, which is located on the third
floor.
CAREER AND TRANSFER CENTER:
The Career
and Transfer Center, located in the 2nd floor lounge, contains detailed
information on other colleges and universities.
College catalogues, course selection guidelines, computerized college
search, scholarship search programs and national directories of colleges are
available for student use. Professional
counselors are available to guide students through the career and transfer
search.
TUTORING:
Tutors
are available for most subjects.
Appointments can be made in the Learning Lab or call (215)972-6236. All tutoring is free of charge to currently
registered students.
SCIENCE AND COMPUTER LABS:
For
security and safety reasons students are not permitted in the science and
computer labs without an instructor being present.
FOOD, DRINK AND SMOKING:
POLICIES
AND PROCEDURES MEMORANDUM NO. 122 PROHIBITS FOOD OR DRINK IN THE CLASSROOMS OR
THE LABS. WITH EVERYONE'S COOPERATION WE
CAN KEEP OUR CENTER CLEAN. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED ANYWHERE IN THE
BUILDING.
ID INFORMATION:
ID
cards are required for entrance into Main Campus buildings including the
library and gymnasium and ALL
computer labs. At the Regional Centers,
you should also be prepared to show your ID. Inquire at the Security desk for
ID information.
LOST AND FOUND:
Please check at Security Desk for lost items.
TELEPHONES:
Pay
telephones are located on the first floor.
Please be sure to have the correct amount of coins with you.
COPY MACHINES:
Copy
machines are located in the front lobby area and in the library.
THE
COST IS 10 CENTS PER COPY.
CHILDREN: Please
DO NOT bring children into
the classroom or laboratory areas.
